The Goals
DGEP’s goals are consistent with those of many other organizations, from the smallest grassroots non- profit to the largest global foundation. DGEP focuses on developing place-making environments for CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE, LONG-TERM, SUSTAINABLE, AMBITIOUS, and PRACTICAL racial equity strategies and initiatives to empower individuals, families, and communities. The organization exists with the purpose of creating a critical mass of leadership that will substantially improve the condition of human life through service and solution, substantially enhance historically depressed environments through creative imagination, and substantially enrich the entire culture of society.
