DGEP PUBLIC SECTOR PARTNERS
DGEP’s public sector partners include an array of public institutions that are willing to do the hard work of understanding the historic and contemporary role that their organizations and even positions play in racial inequity.
This collection of local and statewide public partners are committed to making Durham, North Carolina, and the State of North Carolina a model and mentor city and state for the rest of the world related to racial equity purpose and practice. These include entities that have often been entrenched with practices antithetical to racial equity.
All of these partners have joined and committed to the DGEP effort to rid public institutions of racial inequity. This will ensure that all anti-racist policies, practices, and actions become institutionalized and outlast any individual tenure in office.
This partnership extends to Durham’s powerful state and federal delegates and representatives. DGEP has a powerful model racial equity model to share with the world.
